How
to Order & Search EMTC for Media Information To
search for media go to our online catalog, Web/MAX. Simply click on Web/MAX
and proceed to the log in
page. Enter your User ID and password and begin your search. (Your
User ID consists of 8 digits. The first four digits are your school identifier
and the second four digits identify you. (Example 03011234) If you do not have
a User ID, call EMTC at 609 265-5053. Your password is either AVAlink or
EDlink. If one doesn’t work try the other. Please do not change your User ID
or password). Enter
your search criteria and choose grade level and media type. Web/MAX does the
rest returning a list of all media meeting your specifications including
streaming media indicated by a motion picture icon.
If you choose streaming media, you can view immediately or download to a disc
or server. If you choose video or DVD, follow the prompts to the on-line order
form and place your order. An email confirmation of the media requested and
ship/due date will complete the process. There are 6 ordering options to choose from WebMax

EMTC delivers hundreds of videos, DVDs, anatomical models and Star Lab planetariums every week to 147+ member schools across Burlington County. Orders are accepted up to three working days ahead of the regular delivery days. Delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If you are ordering through Web/MAX, the deadline is midnight three working days ahead of the delivery day. Phone-ns, bulk orders, fax orders and e-form orders deadline is 4:00 pm three working days ahead of regular delivery day. If you are unsure when your regularly delivery day is, call 609 265-5053 or ask your EMTC Coordinator (usually your librarian or media specialist). You may order media one year in advance. Star Lab orders must be phoned in (609) 265-5053. There
are no limits on how many items you may borrow. Users
are encouraged to log in to Web/MAX to search for media that meets their
specific needs and to check on new acquisitions especially for streaming
media, audio clips, printable resources and teacher guides, lesson plans,
assignments, quizzes and tests. If you do
not have an EMTC form - make your own, it is not necessary to use any
particular form as long as your requests are clear and the information you
provide is correct (i.e. title, title number etc).
